Coming back to school

I wore my mask to protect myself and others from getting covid, however, it wasn't big enough to hide the smile on my face while I was walking through the school gates and towards my classroom. 

As soon as I saw my friends and my teacher, I was filled with excitement and happiness. I looked around  my classroom and it felt like I hadn't been to school in a year. 

Yesterday was better than all of the days in lockdown combined because I got away from my siblings for a couple of hours and it felt nice to play with different people other than my family. 

While I was playing on the vortex with my friends I realized that my body felt sick after a few spins because I haven't been on it for months.   

Week 4 reflection

 My win for this week was getting to watch lots of movies because it was too hot to go outside and play. 

My greatest learning achievement this week was my hangi writing because I put a lot of effort into it and I have nearly finished it.  

I am super excited that we get to go back to school because I am sick of looking at a screen all day.

Explanation writing for hangi

Here is an explanation about a hangi. There is only one paragraph because it is not finished and

because I just started on it but I am going to add one paragraph. If you are wondering what all of the other writings are they are just some bullet points and ideas. I have never tried hangi before but I think it tastes nice. My class and I did this because one of our teachers wanted one for her class to explain what a hangi is

 

Term 4 week 2 reflection

My win this week was getting to see my friends at their house and no I didn't go inside. We just had a BBQ and play two very loud games: Get rich quick and king of the jungle. We played these two games until somewhere around 10 or 11 at night. 

This week was challenging because I was still very tired. This meant for the first few days I was slow and sleepy in online calls and learning but I did really well not to show it. 

My goals next week are to sleep early and maybe drink some coffee to wake me up if I am still sleepy.

Wordle

This is a wordle about me and the BEST characteristics which make up my personality. I enjoyed making this wordle because it was a fun way to play with words and learn some new words about myself.

It is good to have a positive view of ourselves because if you're happy, then you are more likely to push yourself to do things which are fun or can be challenging. For example last week's Cybersmart challenge was very challenging but we all learned something new and how to cope if things don't go your way.

 

Term 4 week 1 reflection

I was so excited when I realized school was near but I was sad because it didn't start until Wednesday, but then I saw that the online meetings starts on Monday so then I started counting the days until Monday.    

I was excited because I could finally do something, it felt really good doing school again because for most of the holidays we just did nothing. The hardest thing was getting ready for it because I was still in holiday mode so I was very sleepy and tired. The thing I enjoyed was seeing my teacher and friends on the online meetings.

Today for our school it is the last day for term three then holidays!!! Here is a

things on the slide.By the way I did not create the slide my teacher did and I only 

wrote on it and made some edits.

Cybersmart challenge Number 22: Empowerment

 

This week's Cybersmart Challenge was about empowerment, which is the "authority or power given to someone to do something".We should follow these instructions when someone leaves you a comment or an email that is not positive,helpful or thoughtful.Something important I learned from this challenge is when

some leaves a comment that is not thoughtful,helpful or positive we should not reply to them

because it will leave a mark on our digital footprint, and not to be a cyberbully.

Today for writing I did a poem about I used to, But now and we had to do 10 ideas for the poem.The poem is basically is about what you used to do things but now you have changed, and I wrote this poem all by myself.

Cybersmart Writing Session: What If?

 

2 weeks ago our writing/cybersmart session was a fun and silly one. Writing can be fun and silly, but things that shouldn't be silly in our writing includes accurate spelling, punctuation and grammar - thanks for lesson and reminder, Mr Goodwin!

Information About The Attack On Pearl Harbor

Pearl Harbour is a lagoon on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, west of Honolulu.Pearl Harbour had many planes and ships there were Aichi D3A,Boeing B 17,Boeing E 13,Boeing P 23 and F2A. Some of the ships were BB 38,BB 39,BB 36 and BB 37.

It was December 7th 1941 when the Japanese attacked and bombed Pearl harbour 2,400 American men and women died plus all the people also 1,000 people were hurt during the attack.Sadly no planes got in the air and everything was destroyed.

This had caused world war 2 so Japan had an alliance with Germany and Italy while America alliance with England,France and the Soviet Union.Now Japan and America are very close to each other.Pearl Harbour has most of the weapons from America like planes men and ships.
